We just returned from our latest adventure: a trip to see Green Day on back-to-back nights at New York's legendary Madison Square Garden - July 27th & 28th. A couple of great shows - both Springsteen-like in length and entertainment value. This picture was taken by one of the Verizon staffers before the first night's concert (Verizon is sponsoring the tour). We've got a few more pictures from the show available in our photo gallery.
We also managed to do a bit of the vegan tourist thing while we were in town, with a shopping trip to Moo Shoes on the Lower East side, dinner at Gobo in West Village, and some outrageous organic dairy-free ice cream at a joint we found on 2nd Ave called Stogo.
We had a blast! Now, if you don't mind, please keep your voice down...we could use a nap.
