Rosie and Rick hit the road this weekend in a 2 mile benefit dog walk for CompAnimals Pet Rescue - a local pet rescue group based in Landenberg, PA. Kasey was on the sidelines due to her recent bout with pneumonia, so she served as the official Treegans photographer for the event and primary cheerleader.
We didn't break any land-speed records, but it was a lot of fun for a good cause.

Rosie's a Corgi mix and rescued shelter dog from Delaware Puppy Rescue, who specialize in rescuing pregnant dogs and their puppies from shelters and placing them in permanent homes.
A victim of animal cruelty in a violent household, Rosie is just over a year old and has already had two litters of puppies - most recently in late December 2008. Delaware Puppy Rescue saved Rosie from a Virginia shelter, placed her in a foster home, and paid for the emergency delivery of her puppies (who are in the process of being adopted now).
Rosie's quite a catch: she's fun, smart, affectionate, and well-mannered. We think she's da bomb!
